DNA Paternity testing reveals common International problem

A Florida man is fighting to bring two Haitian children to the U.S., but there are several problems.

http://www.floridatoday.com/article/20100214/NEWS01/2140322/1006/Haitian+custody+battle+no+easy+fight

Could this problem have been prevented by legal paternity testing before placing an alleged biological father’s name on the birth certificate?  US Citizens Against Paternity Fraud and PaternityFraud.com say yes, it would have been prevented.

Maybe it is time to abolish the marital presumption of paternity, worldwide? What do you think? I certainly hope that the truth will be used to correct the documentation.  After the correction is done, then the stepfather could adopt the children and bring them to the US, unless the biological father and his family want custody. My .. what a tangled web and shown here when paternity fraud is not discovered very early.

There is a way to know who is the father that caused the mother’s pregnancy in most cases. It is called legal DNA paternity testing.

What would this story be like today, if the stepfather learned that he was not the father when the first child was a week old? Interesting …

Man jailed for a year after DNA Test proves the mother lied

Jailed for being unable to pay Child Support On another man’s Kid

Hmmm, could this be reason to support the concept “No DNA, No PAY” whenever a man or teen boy is

accused of causing a pregnancy. Either he did it or he did NOT impregnate the child’s mother.

This story shows how far the aggressive state agents will go to maintain a court order against paternity fraud victims. What do you think about the freed victim filing a civil rights suit for false imprisonment?

Yet, any man or teenage that signs the paternity acknowledgment forms at the hospital, at court or at the child support enforcement office takes the same risk as Frank Hatley, Carnell Smith PfV, Dennis Caron, Morgan Wise and others.

Moral of the story from a man that supports truth, honesty and justice is “Never sign a document agreeing to paternity until you have legal DNA paternity test results in hand”.

A major story omits the root cause of paternity fraud

A prime time coverage on certain aspects of paternity fraud that somehow omits the root cause.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/22/magazine/22Paternity-t.html?pagewanted=1

Some interesting facts about Carnell Smith PfV that are NOT featured in the magazine story:

  1. Ex-girlfriend LIED
  2. Ex-girlfriend said that Carnell could see her daughter if he pays $$. Carnell refused to pay after learning they (child and he) were deceived.
  3. Ex-girlfriend did not want Carnell to tell her daughter who her father is.
  4. Ex-girlfriend refused to admit to paternity fraud and apologize in open court
  5. Ex-girlfriend said no contact with Carnell and his family without supervised visitation.
  6. Ex-girlfriend /her attorney asked the court to jail Carnell for refusing to pay after DNA tests shows that he did NOT cause her pregnancy.
  7. Carnell obtained a court ordered deposition on the ex-girlfriend, her friends, her family then finally got the whole story about how she got pregnant “six weeks” after Carnell broke up with her. This material fact was willfully and knowingly withheld from Carnell Smith for 11 years until he obtained a court order for the deposition.
  8. Ex-girlfriend admitted under oath at the court ordered deposition that she NEVER told Carnell about her Tennessee boyfriend, whom she says is her daughter’s father.
  9. Ex-girlfriend and her attorney asked court to order Carnell to pay after 2nd DNA test at zero percent also proved that is not the father.
  10. Ex-girlfriend, her attorney and the judge ignored Carnell’s wife and newborn biological daughter and inability to pay 42% of his net income for another man’s child under “pay or jail”.
  11. Carnell’s motives have always been clear “save his family from the clutches of the ex-girlfriend, her attorney and the child support enforcement system” . His opponents demanded more money while reducing and eliminating parenting time. Then he discovered that “BIG SECRET”, thanks to a friend insisting that he take a legal DNA paternity test.
  12. How does a mother tell a child that lying, cheating and stealing are wrong then refuse to be personally accountable for lying to the child and a man that had ended a relationship with her?
  13. 28% (AABB Annual Parentage study) to 50% (Mens Health Network) of men DNA tested for paternity were NOT the fathers. Another study reports default judgments as high as 70% in California.
  14. There are many paternity fraud victims (married men, single men, default judgment, voluntary confession forms, mistaken identity) in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, Police, Firemen, Clergymen, teenagers and other civilian men.
  15. The Georgia child support enforcement agency testified at a House hearing that as many as 30% of mothers submitted false paternity affidavits.  In some cases 5 or 6 men were tested to find the biological father. Hmmm! Let’s be honest about the fact that men, women and teenagers can be promiscuous.
  16. Paternity Fraud can be one of the reasons for parental alienation syndrome (PAS). The mother is afraid that the man will get a DNA paternity test. So the child’s mother refuses to allow the man to have parenting time, even with a court order.
  17. Many states support and enforce paternity fraud but will not enforce a visitation order for the father nor duped dads.
  18. Mandatory paternity tests at-birth or when a child support demand is filed  would provide men and teenagers with the truth.
  19. DNA paternity testing at-birth or when a child support demand is filed would solve child support disputes.
  20. DNA paternity testing at-birth or when a child support demand is filed would provide the truthful and accurate family medical history for the child.
  21. The Uniform Parentage Act (UPA) does not require the child’s mother to tell the truth within the 2 – 5 year time limit or child’s age (based on presumed or legal father). If the husband or boyfriend discovers that he is not the father after the time limit, he is blamed for not getting a DNA paternity test sooner. Yes, even if the mother commits fraud by wilful and knowing concealment of her intimate relationship with the child’s father — the duped dad is blamed for not getting a test. Oh, let’s not forget that the time limits are generally NOT publicized to men and teenagers.
  22. Wonder how many military and civilian men propose or got married upon hearing Ms. Cupcake say “I’m pregnant and you’re going to be a daddy” while she knows that he is not the father or is only one of the paternity candidates?
  23. Trust, but verify. One of Carnell Smith’s clients discovered that he was NOT the father just before the wedding and cancelled the wedding.  Another paternity fraud victim got out of the trap … thanks to www.911DnaTest.com and 4Truth Identity’s DNA Center.

Situations like paternity fraud, disposable dads, lifetime alimony, 14 percent or less parenting time (1 day a week and alternating weekends, or jailed for inability to pay child support (Frank Hatley – Georgia paternity fraud victim) and parental alienation are fueling the marriage strike by men.

Equal rights dictate equal responsiblity, especially in paternity fraud.

In 2001, after Smith’s own paternity struggle, he formed U.S. Citizens Against Paternity Fraud, to help the men he calls “duped dads.” In his most notable success, Smith persuaded Georgia lawmakers to rescind nonbiological fathers’ financial obligations, no matter the child’s age or how close the relationship. Smith then became the first man to disestablish paternity under that law.

Ladies with sons, grandsons, husbands/boyfriends, married men, military men should learn more about paternity fraud and the basic four types:

  1. Signing voluntary paternity confession form
  2. Default Judgment
  3. Marital presumption of paternity aka “The Lord Mansfeld doctrine
  4. Mistaken identity

A legal DNA paternity test as soon as possible will help men and teenage boys make an informed decision based on the truth. Truth is a good thing, right?

SUPPORT? System Down exposes paternity fraud and more

Dr. Sharon Squires and I met, Angelo Lobo, John Murtari and many others in Atlanta, Georgia at the Peachtree Village International Film Festival.

Wow, the movie “SUPPORT? System Down” was great. It was an incredible expose` of the harm to families where men and women are being discarded from the lives of their children without being convicted of a crime.

There were military victims of paternity fraud, parental alienation syndrome (PAS, poverty, bankrupted by process, nervous breakdown, depression, unbelievable anxiiety/ stress and deadbolted dads – locked out by the family court process.

The movie made it clear to us that there are men and women receiving more pain and anguish, but not much help in the family courts across the nation.

Definitely, there is more work needed to help our kids keep protected access to both parents and their extended families.

SUPPORT? System Down has opened the door by exposing the areas where state and national help is needed. Share the news with a friend, military man and parents of teen boys.

The Truth Squad

Shhhh. Don’t say it again “DNA testing at birth would give the truth to the child”.  No, we will not be quiet as long as the laws continue to ignore the facts.

A man says he is the biological father and wants to prove it …. Let’s take the paternity test.

How can that be a bad thing? http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/09/man-who-says-he-is-jaycee-dugards-father-pleads-for-reunion.html

In a similar story, I helped a 50+ year old adoptee find her 75+ year old biological father. After locating her mother, the bittersweet reunion soured when her mother refused to tell her “who is my father?”.

We used legal DNA testing to confirmed that he is her long lost father. The new father stated that he was unaware of that his daughter existed.  This is what happens when lack of notice to father loopholes are allowed to remain unchallenged.

Thanks to her husband and www.911DnaTest.com — we solved another family mystery. Truth is the best interest.

Who’s afraid of the truth? See the SUPPORT? System Down movie for more information.
